10/27/22: An old friend Returns.

Today is Thursday. I did a lot of chores, and other things, but the main thing I did today was talk to an old friend of mine that I haven't talked to for a long time. Let me give you a little backstory: I found this friend on an online video game we played in the same party, and I friended him as he was a great player. We talked to each other a lot on Discord then, but after a month we started drifting away. 

                   We stopped talking, and that was really the end of the friendship. Or so I thought. Two months later, I tried to track him down on Discord, but I couldn't find him. I found his Steam account, and friended him. I was scared. He wasn't responding to my messages, and he still hadn't talked to me on Steam. I thought maybe he had stopped using electronics, but today he texted me one word: "Hey".  

                    We're talking again, and it's great to have him back. I took him too much for granted when I used to talk with him, but I'm so glad he's back again. He's changed a lot, and talking to him is more than twice as enjoyable. So I say this: If you have a friend you haven't talked to in a long time, just give them a call, or a text. It really means a lot, and you'll be glad you reconnected. That's all for today, Peace.
